Procedure to get CA Intermediate Certified Copy



In our life, there are many times we have said that we are not happy with our results, and we don’t have any chance to see or check our copy that where we got wrong. But no in CA intermediate. Because ICAI has a policy for students that after getting the result, if they are not satisfied with their marks, then they can apply for their verification and get a certified copy. If you are a topper or you have scored suitable in your paper, then you should take all your certifies copies or those in which you have scored well as to help others to score well get qualify ca intermediate.

What do you mean by certified copy?

After the student completes their exams and then the copies get submitted, then the whole process started which includes the evaluation and checking of your copies. It is assumed that the evaluation is made under regulation 39(4). After this process, such minute screened assessments there, and then marks are given with stamp on the answer sheet, making it as certified the copy.

Process for applying certified copy


  1. Search URL http://icaiexam.icai.org. ICAI website.
  2. Get log in from your ID & password.
  3. Click “Apply now” where certified copy/inspection is written on the dashboard
  4. Fill all the information asked int hat particular form.
  5. Now select the subject which you are willing to have.
  6. Now you have to upload the scanned handwritten which have been duly signed. In your application, it should have details like your name, roll number, papers for the certified copies you want.
  7. After you are done with uploading, you should save and preview so before conforming for certified copies.
  8. Now press the ‘confirm’ button after checking the data that you have provided and if all the data is correct. If not, then change it and then confirm it for further process.
  9. Now you will go to the payment window and make necessary payment( i.e., Rs 500/- per paper)for the request.

After doing all the processes needed to do for getting your selected certified copies. Sometimes it may take time to deliver your copy

  1. Visit Icai web site
  2. Login in all the details needed their
  3. Then you will get a link on your register email id or through SMS for downloading your ca final certified copy along with the whole process for how to download your ca intermediate certified copy.

What we should get certified copies?


One reason can be to help another student with the correct way of writing the answer and it can help them to score good marks in those particular subjects
If anyone is not happy what they get in their result then they should apply for verification, and you can only apply for verification, not for revaluation.

  • You have to write the application as you have written your paper and the same medium (Hindi and English). As they will have the specimen of your handwriting to compare with your answer book.
  • There is will no acceptance for a late request for your certified copies after one month of your ca intermediate result announcement.
  • There is no refund policy as per ICAI rules and regulation for your request for ca intermediate certified copy which is rs500
  • If any of your details written in your requested form then the application will be rejected and you will not have your certified copy.
